WEEK 10

Project 4 :

  • Self-Titled Animation 
    1. Idea Development (    Write a biography about myself)
INTRO I’m Kim Seoyeong, I’m 23. I’m currently studying Bachelor of Mass communication, and my specialization is digital media production.

PARAGRAPH 1 I graduated from event management and now I am majoring in mass communication. The future jobs I'm trying to do are deeply related to graphic design. I also liked decorating and was interested in designing. Therefore, I was interested in graphic design which could be helpful to me.

PARAGRAPH 2 Among graphic designs, moving animation-type designs were the most noticeable to me, and among them, I prefer graphic designs that emphasize one part that is simple and noticeable.

SUMMARY I want to study marketing using graphic design, and I have been interested in everything related to design, and recently I have been focusing on graphic design in particular.

       2. Idea Development (Write a statement about my work)

INTRO This project is to express me by putting animation using my own portrait. I had a lot of troubleshooting because I had to take pictures and get the composition myself.

PARAGRAPH 1 As I mentioned earlier, I like graphic designs that are simple but give specific highlights that stand out. As the trend changes rapidly these days and various things arise, I think the most necessary thing for designers is a simple but eye-catching design that can catch people's attention and is necessary.

PARAGRAPH 2 I especially thought a lot about whether to give myself an animation as an emphasis point or an emphasis point as an external background. I will try both, and if I get the design I want the most, I will choose it. The design I want to try is as simple as possible and I will make my own after searching for a lot of materials.

SUMMARY I will come up with a design that can have emphasis points in any part that is as modern and simple as possible.

These posters are created by me with Adobe Photoshop. The functions I used in Photoshop include cutting using magic tools and contrast tools. Below are the posters of my mock up.

WEEK 12

Project 4 :

I add more emphasis on my digital poster #2 that I chose for my final poster.


ARTIST STATEMENT: This poster is designed as simple and casual. This is a poster intended to look comfortable and emphasize me.

WEEK 13

Project 4 :

  • Self-Titled Animation 
    1. Final Video
I used After Effect to edit my self-titled animation. I tried to use a variety of tools (transformation) within 15 seconds. I used position, rotation, and oposity while I work on this.

TITLE: My specialty
This is a video based on the creativity of my poster. This is a video that I wanted to show with emphasis while watching this youtube shorts.
