WEEK 1

Exercises :

  • Bézier Game
The pen tool, a notoriously challenging tool for photo editors to master, is the focus of The Bezier Game, which tries to increase photoshop users' proficiency with it. A certain amount of 'Nodes' should be given and each level should be completed using the given node. I left 28 nodes at the end. After watching the game's tutorial video, it was easier than I thought and helped me understand how to use photoshop's tools.

  • List down my 3 favorite graphic design works from Pinterest.
1. The blue sky and the night view of the lights falling like stars in the shape of the
umbrella gave a graphic effect as if the lights of the building were falling like stars
or rain. It's a pretty impressive graphic design for me. This poster expressed that
negative space is referred to as a positive trend not because negative and positive
attract each other in physics, but because negative space techniques elicit quite
positive emotions in graphic aesthetics. Negative space is, by definition, an
"empty" space in a design that forms a distinct shape. The technique has recently
become one of the most popular, and it still holds the top spot.

       2. I think this design is creative because the text interacts with the image. The 3D
fusion effect gives an abstract feeling, and the ballet dancer's missing body is
bizarre, but it seems to make us think of design ourselves. This poster expressed
that typography tightly interacting with other elements of the composition is a
modern graphic design trend. The applied effect is that letters are transformed
into real-life objects.

       3. It looks like a graphic design advertising Cass and this neon-colored design
caught my eye. It is extremely addictive and meets the standards of graphic
design that should attract people's attention. This poster expressed that this is a
marketing graphic design aimed at promoting the brand. All backgrounds and
creations in this poster are also related to the brand which is promoting for.
